SPENCER HARWOOD | OWNER

I am a naturalist at heart, I enjoy the outdoors in its full complexity. Land management and restoration is my specialty. I love turning an average outdoor space into a spruced-up, functional area where you can both enjoy nature and preserve the land. Whether you're looking to cultivate a wildlife habitat, update your landscaping with a new patio to enjoy your lake views, or add erosion control and water mitigation to your property - I can help!

I have my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in Natural Resource Conservation and minors in Plant Science, as well as Geographical Information Systems. This well rounded environmental background paired with years of experience in various construction roles gives me a great knowledge base to help you Spruce Up your property - starting from the ground up.

TOMMY BLATZ | OWNER

I am an avid outdoorsman and an operator by trade. My love for nature and my 10+ years of experience in equipment operation makes Spruced Up the perfect fit for me. I have gained experience working with various construction companies along with operating and working as a mechanic in the United States Marine Corps for four years. After serving in the Marine Corps, I attended an equipment operating school for the Army National Guard, where I served for three more years. I have an associates degree in general studies and am working on my Bachelor's degree in Business. Spruced Up has given me the opportunity to use my operating experience to help preserve nature. I enjoy restoring land, solving erosion issues, and turning overgrown properties into usable areas for the customer to enjoy.

Outside of work I enjoy volunteering within my local community. I am a board member for the Chetek Chamber of Commerce, am a volunteer member of the Chetek Fire Department, Dive Team, and EMS.
